I have played volleyball since I was seven years old, and what I love most about volleyball is being part of a team. I like the atmosphere of the sport. In the short term, I want to be a better passer and make it to the podium for a beach tournament. In the long run, I want to play in college and/or be a coach.

I started playing volleyball in 4th grade. I love how many friends I have made and seeing my teams progress and get better. I also love improving and reaching my goals. I expect a lot out of my teammates, and I push them (and myself) to be the best we can. I think my teammates would describe me as a dependable, gritty energy-giver.

I’ve been playing volleyball for four years, and what I love most about it is making friends and learning from new people. In the short term I want to increase my vertical, and my long term goal is to be a player others look up to! I was proud to be chosen as captain for my club team this season, and I think what makes me a great teammate is my leadership and the positive feedback I give to others.

I love playing with my teammates and making friendships along the way. My volleyball community is a big part of my life. Another thing I love is being competitive. A few of my short term goals are to improve my arm speed to hit harder and making my passes more precise. A long-term goal is to always be part of the volleyball community as both a player and maybe someday a coach.

I started volleyball in the 7th grade, and I love the thrill, excitement and adrenaline of the sport! I’m a positive person, and my teammates would describe me as supportive, uplifting, and fun. I got to play libero for my indoor team this season, and I learned that I honestly play better under pressure because I feel motivated to prove myself. Something you may not know about me is I was born in Brazil, and I am really inspired by my dad because he is so hardworking and he has the kindest soul.

I have played volleyball for three years, and I love the friendships the sport has given me. I am proud of all the wins and losses that have shaped me into the player and person I am today. A short term goal of mine is to win another tournament, and I hope to one day become a physical therapist. When I’m not playing volleyball, I really enjoy hanging with my friends and family. Many people inspire me but my dad inspires me the most because of his hardworking personality. He always is doing something and helping others before himself
